Privacy policy
PrintaCoaster (“we”, “us”) runs printacoaster.com, a website for designing 3D-printable roller coasters. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. PrintaCoaster is operated by [OWNER NAME OR COMPANY], [CITY, STATE/COUNTRY].
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see them.
- Waitlist. If you leave your email on the coming-soon page, we keep it only to send you one email when PrintaCoaster opens. We never share it, and we delete it on request.
- Profile. The display name shown on designs you share. It starts as the first part of your email address and you can change it.
- Your designs and elements. Coasters and custom elements you save to your account, with a small picture of each design.
- Export records. Each time you export a printable kit: the time, the design, and the size of the kit. We use these to run the service, prevent abuse, and, once exports are paid, for billing.
- Technical data. Like any website, our servers and providers receive your IP address and basic browser information when you visit, and keep short-lived logs for security and troubleshooting.
You can design without an account. Designs you have not saved to an account stay in your own browser.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, autosave the design you are working on, remember your custom elements, and remember display settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes (for example, if we add advertising), we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How we use your information
- To run your account: sign you in, save and share your designs, and build the kits you export.
- To send emails you need: confirming your address, sign-in codes and password resets. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to understand overall usage.
We do not sell your personal information.
What others can see
Designs are private unless you share them. A design shared with “Anyone with the link” can be opened by anyone who has the link, along with your display name. A design shared as “Public in Explore” is listed publicly with your display name. You can make a design private again at any time.
Service providers
These companies process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: accounts, authentication and the database that stores your designs.
- Render: hosts the website and builds export kits.
- Resend: sends our account emails.
- Stripe: processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us; we keep a record of what you bought.
- Cloudflare: domain name and DNS.
- cdnjs, jsDelivr and Google Fonts: deliver the code libraries and fonts the site loads, and so receive your IP address when your browser requests them.
Some of these providers are in the United States and may process data in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and designs until you delete them or your account. Export records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and abuse prevention; when you delete your account they are no longer linked to you.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time from Account → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, designs and elements.
- Download your designs at any time with the Download button.
- Change or correct your display name and password in Account.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to access a copy of your data or object to its use. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Children
PrintaCoaster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users.
