Terms of service
These terms govern your use of printacoaster.com (“PrintaCoaster”, “the service”), operated by [OWNER NAME OR COMPANY] (“we”, “us”). By using the service or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
PrintaCoaster lets you design model roller coasters in your browser, simulate how a ball rides them, save and share designs, and export files for 3D printing. We may change, add or remove features, and we may limit or end the service with reasonable notice where we can.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete my account.
Your designs
- You own what you create. Your designs and custom elements remain yours.
- To run the service, you give us permission to store, process and display your content. When you share a design or element, you also allow anyone it is shared with to view it and to make and print their own copies and variations of it through PrintaCoaster. You can stop sharing at any time; copies others have already made may remain.
- Only share content you have the right to share. Do not upload anything unlawful, infringing, or offensive.
Exports and payment
Designing, simulating, saving and sharing are free. Exporting a printable kit is paid, priced per design by its track length (Family, Thrill or Extreme), or covered by an annual pass. The price is shown before you pay. Once you unlock a design you can export it again as often as you like, including after you change it; if it grows into a bigger size, only the difference is charged. The annual pass is a one-time payment that covers every export for 12 months and does not renew automatically. Payments are processed by Stripe. [Refund terms to be decided.]
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's accounts or data, get around limits or payment, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything illegal.
Printing and building: safety
- Designs and simulations are estimates. Real prints depend on your printer, settings and materials, and models may not work as simulated.
- Finished models contain small parts and small balls, which are a choking hazard. They are not toys for young children. Supervise children and keep balls away from small children and pets.
- You are responsible for printing, assembling and using models safely, including any electrical or moving parts you add.
Our software
The PrintaCoaster website, software and branding belong to us. You may use them only through the service as offered. The kit files you export from your own designs are yours to print for personal use. [Decide and state whether selling printed models or kit files is allowed.]
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that designs or exported files will print or work as intended.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you have paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes here and update the date above; significant changes will be announced to signed-in users. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
